• Today's game marks the seventh all-time meeting between the Wolverines and Terrapins and first as Big Ten conference foes. U-M trails the all-time series 3-4.
• U-M improved its shooting in the second half, firing at 40.7 percent (11-for-27) from the field, 33.3 percent (4-for-12) from behind the arc and 100 percent (9-for-9) from the charity stripe, compared to 32 percent (8-for-25), 11.1 percent (1-for-9), and 66.7 (4-for-6) percent, respectively, in the first half.
• The Maize and Blue pulled down 30 rebounds today, including 10 on the offensive end. It marks the 11th game this season in which U-M has had double-digit offensive rebounds
• Zak Irvin finished with team-high 15 points and tied a career high with five makes from the charity stripe.
• Zak Irvin has made a three-pointer in every game this season -- including two in today's game. He leads U-M with 67 this season. For his career, he has made at least one triple in 56 of 65 career games.
• Spike Albrecht finished with team-high 15 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal. With a perfect four-of-four effort from the foul line, Albrecht is shooting 94.7 percent (36-of-38) from the line this season and has made 17 consecutive foul shots over the last five games.
• Spike Albrecht has scored in double figures in seven straight games, the longest streak in his career. Albrecht is averaging 13.7 points per game over the stretch.
• Spike Albrecht is inching his way to 100 assists on the season as he has a 98 through 27 games (3.6 apg), a career-best single-season total.
• Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman registered seven points, on three-of-six from the field, grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and dished out two assists.
