Today's game was the 175th all-time meeting between Michigan and Michigan State. U-M leads 97-78 all-time. The Wolverines have lost the last two games in the series.
Today's game was the seventh all-time overtime game between Michigan and Michigan State. It was the first extra time game since March 7, 1993, when the Wolverines claimed an 87-81 win at Crisler Center. U-M is 5-2 all-time in overtime games against the Spartans and 2-1 in OT games in East Lansing.
Today's game was Michigan's third overtime game of the season. The Wolverines drop to 1-2 in extra-frame games -- defeating Illinois (73-65; Dec. 30) and losing to Wisconsin (69-64, Jan. 24) and MSU (76-66).

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (18, at Michigan State) becomes the third freshman to lead the Wolverines in scoring this season, joining Aubrey Dawkins (20, Illinois, Dec. 30) and Ricky Doyle (16, Coppin State; Dec. 22).
For the second straight game Max Bielfeldt hauled in a career-best nine rebounds. Over his last four games, he has averaged 7.5 rebounds per game. He added a career-best 33 minutes of action, recording his first 30-plus minute game.
Andrew Dakich doubled his career best for minutes in a game with 16 against the Spartans. He tied a career best with one rebound.
Zak Irvin has made a three-point field goal in every game this season. He leads U-M with 53 on the season.
