Postgame Notes: #8 Ohio State 42, #12 Michigan 13

• Michigan fell to 58-48-6 in the all-time series against Ohio State and 31-22-4 in meetings played in Ann Arbor. Today's game marked the 57th Michigan-Ohio State meeting in which both teams were nationally ranked; the Wolverines are 29-24-4 in those contests. Michigan is 2-2 against ranked opponents this season.
• Graduate student quarterback Jake Rudock completed 19-of-32 passes for 263 passing yards and one touchdown. It was his fourth straight game with 250 passing yards. He is the sixth Wolverine quarterback to throw for 250 passing yards in four games in a season and the first to achieve the feat in consecutive games.
• With 2,739 passing yards this season, Rudock moved to fifth place among Michigan's all-time single-season leaders, passing several Wolverines, including Jim Harbaugh (2,729, 1986). He needs just four more yards to reach the fourth spot, currently held by Chad Henne (2,743, 2004). Rudock also moved to 15th among U-M's career leaders in the category.
• Senior wide receiver Jehu Chesson had his second 100-yard receiving game of the season, catching eight passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. He surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in his career, upping his three-year total to 1,021. He entered the 2015 season with just 375 career yards.
• Chesson boasts eight receiving touchdowns over the last five games. He now has 11 touchdowns this season -- eight receiving, two rushing and one kickoff return. Chesson entered the 2015 season with just one career touchdown and had just one receiving touchdown through his first 31 collegiate games.
• Senior tight end Jake Butt posted 54 receiving yards to up his season total to 620 and move to third among U-M's all-time single-season leaders in receiving yards by a tight end. He also ranks fourth in single-season (48) and career (89) receptions by a tight end.
• Butt has caught at least one pass in 15 straight games and in 23 of his last 26 games and owns four or more catches in five straight games.
• Junior cornerback Jourdan Lewis earned his first career sack -- for a two-yard loss -- in the first quarter.
• Junior defensive end Taco Charlton has registered at least one tackle for loss in five straight games, upping his career total to 14.5 over three seasons.
• Senior kicker Kenny Allen posted two field goals to up his season and career total to 16, converting attempts of 25 yards in the second quarter and 27 yards in the fourth quarter.
• Today's announced attendance of 111,829 marks the 265th consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium. It narrowly topped the Michigan State game's crowd of 111,740 as the largest of 2015. It is the largest home crowd since U-M drew 113,085 for last year's Penn State night game (Oct. 11, 2014).
