Postgame Notes: Minnesota 30, Michigan 14

• Today's announced attendance of 102,926 marks the 255th consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium.
• The Wolverines fell to 73-25-3 in the all-time series against Minnesota. The loss snapped Michigan's six-game winning streak in the series.
• The Little Brown Jug is the oldest trophy game in college football and has been on the line for every Michigan and Minnesota game since 1909.
• Michigan also saw its eight-game win streak in Big Ten Conference openers halted at eight. The Wolverines fell to 48-12-2 since 1953 in their first Big Ten game of the season.
• Michigan's game captains were senior/junior running back Justice Hayes, junior wide receiver Devin Funchess, junior wide receiver Dennis Norfleet and fifth-year senior linebacker Jake Ryan.
• Minnesota was the first team to outgain the Wolverines this season, 373-171.
• Michigan is 12-for-12 in the red zone this season and has scored touchdowns on 10 of 12 trips inside the 20-yard line (.833).
• Sophomore running back De'Veon Smith scored this third touchdown of the season -- and third of his career -- with a 10-yard rush in the second quarter.
• Fifth-year senior quarterback Devin Gardner recorded his 21st career rushing touchdown on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter. Gardner completed 3-of-6 passes and carried the ball five times for 23 yards through limited playing time in the fourth.
• Junior wide receiver Devin Funchess has recorded at least one reception in 18 straight games
• Sophomore defensive end Taco Charlton recorded his second career sack -- for a 10-yard loss -- in the first quarter. Charlton also tied a career high with three tackles.
• Senior defensive end Frank Clark has posted a tackle for loss in four of five games this season and has recorded a sack in two straight games.
• Junior defensive end Mario Ojemudia recorded his first sack of the season -- for a loss of five yards -- in the third quarter.
• Junior/sophomore defensive lineman Chris Wormley posted his first TFL of the season for a loss of three yards in the first quarter.
• Junior safety Jarrod Wilson set a new career high with nine tackles. His previous career high was six tackles vs. Akron in 2013.
• Junior/sophomore Ryan Glasgow set two new career highs with five tackles and one TFL. His previous high for tackles was three vs. Utah (Sept. 20, 2014).
• Junior linebacker Joe Bolden tied two career highs: he recorded a team-best 10 tackles (twice previously, last vs. Notre Dame in 2014) and he posted one sack (three times previously, last vs. Kansas State in 2013).
• Junior wide receiver Dennis Norfleet posted two kick returns, earning 38 yards, to tie the U-M career record held by Steve Breaston (81, 2003-06). He also moved to 10th on the Big Ten all-time list, where he is tied with Breaston, Indiana's A.C. Carter and Indiana's Marcus Thigpen.
• Fifth-year senior punter Will Hagerup posted a career-best 400 punt yards -- on eight punts -- against Minnesota. His previous high was 353, recorded against Alabama in 2012. His effort today tied for the sixth most in Michigan program history, matching Hayden Epstein's performance against UCLA on Sept. 16, 2000.
• With 4,907 career punting yards, Hagerup also moved to 10th among U-M's all-time leaders in the category. He passed Mark Werner (4,553, 1968-69) and needs 415 more yards to reach the ninth spot, currently held by Chris Stapleton (5,322, 1989-93).
