Michigan and Bowling Green met for the first time in the history of the two programs today.
Freshman goalkeeper Megan Hinz made her first start in goal and notched her first shutout, making three saves.
Freshmen Niki Wilkinson and Emma Groffsky made their career debuts for Michigan today.
Ani Sarkisian has one assist in each of Michigan's first two games.
Corinne Harris has had a hand in all four of U-M's goals this season. She assisted on the first goal today and was taken down in the box in the second half, leading to Michigan's penalty-kick goal. Including two assists against CSUN Friday, she now has 14 career assists.
Michigan outshot Bowling Green, 27-3, and held a lopsided advantage in corner kicks, 20-1.
Michigan has started the season with back-to-back wins in each of the last three seasons.
