• With its fourth straight victory, the Maize and Blue climbs to 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference play, making this season the third straight campaign Michigan has won at least their first pair of Big Ten matchups.
• After winning the only matchup between the two schools this season, Michigan's record against Northwestern improves to 108-56 all-time. U-M has won five straight against the Wildcats and owns a record of 62-20 in Ann Arbor, including four straight wins at Crisler Center.
• Michigan shot 52.1 percent (25-of-48) from the floor, marking the eighth time this season that U-M has shot 50 percent or better as a team.
• Michigan has shot better than 50 percent from the field in the second half in each of its last three games -- 53.8 percent in today's win vs. Northwestern, 52.6 percent at Minnesota and 53.1 percent vs. Holy Cross.
• The largest lead for the Maize and Blue was 26 points, coming with 1:21 remaining in the contest.
• Michigan produced two notable shooting streaks -- 9-for-13 in the first half and 9-for-11 in the second half.
• The Wolverines featured three players in double figures in points: Nik Stauskas (game-high 18), Glenn Robinson III (12) and Derrick Walton Jr. (11); U-M has now seen at least two members of its starting five reach the double-figure plateau in each game this season.
• With his game-high 18 points, Nik Stauskas has now led the Maize and Blue in scoring seven times this season and has been the game's high scorer on six occasions this season.
• After shooting 87 free throw attempts (74-of-87; 85.1 percent) in 39 games during his freshman campaign, Nik Stauskas has surpassed that total in just 13 contests, going 72-of-90 (80 percent) from the line thus far in 2013-14.
• Jordan Morgan finished with eight points and eight rebounds, matching his previous season high of eight points against Stanford on Dec. 21, 2013.
• Coming off the bench in each of the last three games, Jon Horford has shot 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the floor, averaging 10.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.
• Over his last three games, Zak Irvin has shot 48.0 percent from beyond the arc (12-for-25) and 50.0 percent (17-of-34) from the floor in his last six contests.
• U-M assisted on 60 percent (15-of-25) of its field goals, marking the fourth straight game in which the Wolverines have totaled at least 15 assists as a team and the fifth time they have reached that mark in the last six games.
