• Michigan improves to 5-0 in extra innings this season.
• U-M is now 23-0 when leading after six innings.
• Michigan evened the all-time series with Louisiana Lafayette at 6-6 with the win.
• The Wolverines are now 2-0 against the Ragin' Cajuns this season (3-1 win on Feb. 22).
• U-M improves to 8-11 in Super Regional games.
• The victory is the 1,300th at Michigan for U-M head coach Carol Hutchins. She has 1,323 career wins (23 at Ferris State in 1982).
• Ashley Lane hit her 18th home run of the season, tying a career high she set in 2011. Lane is one of just six players to hit 18 or more home runs in a season for U-M (Sierra Romero; former U-M players Samantha Findlay, Jessica Merchant, Dorian Shaw, Maggie Viefhaus).
• Lane hit Michigan's first walk-off home run of the season.
• Lane collected her 16th multiple-RBI game of the season, second most on the team.
• Lane now has two of the top eight RBI seasons in U-M history. Her 58 RBI this season ranks as the eighth-best season to go along with her 71 RBI in 2011, the third-best single season.
• Lyndsay Doyle is in the midst of a six-game hitting streak, a season high for her. Her career high is seven games (2012).
• Sierra Lawrence picked up her fourth outfield assist of the season, a new team lead. She threw a runner out at home in the first, the third time she has done so in 2013.
• Sierra Romero hit her 11th double of the season, second most on the team.
• Romero has scored 65 runs this season, the third-best single-season mark in U-M history.
• Romero knocked in her 69th run of the season, tying former U-M player Samantha Findlay for the fourth-most RBI in one season. Findlay did it in 2008.
• Brandi Virgil entered the game as a pinch runner in the bottom of the eighth. She scored her 13th run of the season, a new career best (12 in 2011).
• Haylie Wagner picked up her 19th win of the season. Her relief appearance was her first in the NCAA Tournament this season. She pitched all 35 innings for U-M in last year's tournament.
• Sara Driesenga pitched more than seven innings (7.1) for the second time this season (10.0 innings vs. Illinois State on Feb. 22).
