• Michigan improves to 11-0 on the season. The last time the program accomplished this feat was the start of the 1988-89 season -- its only national championship season. U-M has recorded two additional 11-0 starts in the history of the program -- 1988-89 and 1985-86.
• U-M's 11-0 start is the best for any John Beilein led team in 35 years as a head coach.
• Michigan is 3-0 in games played in New York this season. Earlier this season, U-M defeated Pittsburgh and Kansas State to win its first NIT Season Tip-Off title at Madison Square Garden.
• With 27 points, Trey Burke has scored in double figures in all 11 games. It is also his fourth 20-plus point game of the season, 41st career double-figure scoring game (45 games), and the ninth 20-plus point game of his career.
• Trey Burke set a career high with 12 field goals made. His prior best was 11 against Minnesota (March 9, 2012) in the Big Ten Tournament.
• With his 25 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. posted his eighth game scoring in double figures and the third 20-plus point game of the season. It is the 62nd double-digit point game (80 games) and the 15th 20-plus point game of his career.
• With his 10 points, Nik Stauskas has now scored in double figures in 10 straight games.
• With Trey Burke's 27 points and Tim Hardaway Jr.'s 25, Michigan posted two players with 20 or more points in a game for the second time this season. Burke had 20, while Glenn Robinson III had 21 against IUPUI on Nov. 11.
• With his eight assists, Trey Burke has five or more assists in 10 games this season.
• With his eight three-point attempts, Tim Hardaway Jr. moved into seventh place all-time on U-M's career attempts list, passing Manny Harris (2008-10, 447). Hardaway now has 442 in his three-year career.
• Glenn Robinson III had a career-best two blocks.
• Trey Burke tied his career best with three steals for the second time this season. The other came against Western Michigan on Dec. 4.
• With 43 points in the first half, Michigan recorded its sixth 40-plus point first half.
• Michigan is 22-0 when scoring 80 points or more under John Beilein.
• Coach Beilein faced his former team West Virginia for the first time since leaving in 2007-08. Beilein served as the head coach of the Mountaineers from 2003-07.
• Michigan played its first game in the new Barclays Center, the home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets.
