• With the win, Michigan moved to 9-7 on the season and 3-2 in Big Ten play. It was the 502nd all-time win for the Wolverines at Crisler Arena.
• The win avenged the Big Ten opening loss (71-65) to Indiana two weeks ago in Bloomington, Ind.
• Michigan is now 54-99 (51-92*) all-time against Indiana, and 41-36 at home.
• Michigan wore its maize uniforms for the fifth time this season. The Wolverines are 4-1 this season when wearing maize.
• Manny Harris scored 17 of his game-high 21 points in the second half. He also added six rebounds, three assists and one block in the win.
• With his 21 points against Indiana, Manny Harris passed Terry Mills (1,405) to move into 21st place on the Wolverines' all-time scoring list. Harris now has 1,422 points in his U-M career.
• Manny Harris' 21 points and DeShawn Sims' 20 points against Indiana marked the fourth time this season (second time in Big Ten play) that two Wolverines have scored at least 20 points. The "Motor City Duo" of Harris and Sims accounted for the three previous games in which two Michigan players scored at least 20 as well.
• Michigan's defense held Indiana to 45 points for the game, U-M's lowest total allowed all season. This marked only the second time all season the Wolverines have kept their opponent under 50 points. U-M last accomplished this Dec. 22 against Coppin State (46 points).
• The Wolverines won the turnover battle 16-19 as U-M only committed five in the second half (11 in the first). Michigan scored 21 points off the Hoosiers' turnovers, while Indiana only scored four off Michigan's turnovers.
• Michigan recorded 11 steals against the Hoosiers, marking the fifth time this season the Wolverines have reached double-digit steals. Michigan is now 2-3 in these contests.
• Darius Morris set a career high with three steals against Indiana. DeShawn Sims and Stu Douglass also added three steals each, both tying career highs.
• Darius Morris also added a game-high four assists, his second consecutive game that he led the team in assists (seven against Northwestern). He played 32 minutes against Indiana, his highest total since Dec. 9 at Utah when he played 33.
• Michigan shot just 32 percent from the field in the first half (7-of-22). The Wolverines shot 57 percent in the second half (17-of-30) and outscored Indiana 42-24 in the second half.
• Michigan won the rebounding battle, 36-29. This was the second consecutive game in which the Wolverines have outrebounded their opponent. Michigan is now 4-2 in these contests.
• Michigan went 17-of-19 (89 percent) from the free throw line. Indiana shot only 6-of-12 (50 percent).
• For the seventh straight game, Michigan went with the starting lineup of DeShawn Sims, Manny Harris, Stu Douglass, Zack Novak, and Laval Lucas-Perry.
• With his start against Northwestern, Manny Harris has now started all 83 games in his U-M career, while Stu Douglass has played in all 51 in his career. Zack Gibson extended his consecutive games played streak to 83, while DeShawn Sims has played in 113 consecutive for Michigan.
