The starting five for Michigan were Laval Lucas-Perry, Darius Morris, Zack Novak, Manny Harris, and DeShawn Sims.
Michigan never trailed after taking a 12-11 lead on a Manny Harris free throw with 11:54 left to play in the first half.
Junior Manny Harris led the Wolverines with 25 points -- 16 in the first half and nine in the second half. He also tallied a game-high three steals and a game-high four assists.
Manny Harris and junior DeShawn Sims each notched a team-high five rebounds.
Freshman Darius Morris got the start at point guard and played 25 minutes, finishing with three points and three assists. Redshirt sophomore Laval Lucas-Perry posted seven minutes at point guard, while sophomore Stu Douglass recorded five minutes.
Sophomore Zack Novak scored all 15 of his points on three-point field goals. He went 5-8 from beyond the arc.
Redshirt freshman Ben Cronin saw his first game action in nearly a year after undergoing hip surgery that forced him to redshirt his freshman season. He played three minutes and recorded four points along with three rebounds.
Laval Lucas-Perry and Ben Cronin each had a game-high two blocks.
Five freshmen saw their first game action for the Wolverines: Matt Vogrich, Eso Akunne, Josh Bartelstein, and Blake McLimans joined Darius Morris on the court Friday night.
Fifteen players saw action tonight for Michigan.
The Maize Rage was full from end to end and included a full section on the baseline resulting from a 500-percent increase in student season-ticket sales.
Attendance was 9,657.
