ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- On the first day of competition at the Wolverine Invitational today (Friday, Oct. 2), all seven University of Michigan women's tennis players won their opening-round singles matches to open up fall play at the Varsity Tennis Center. Rainy weather forced the action indoors for most of the day until late afternoon when consolation matches were moved outside. Action will resume tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 3) at 9 a.m.
