ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- On the second day of action at the Wolverine Invitational today (Saturday, Oct. 3), two University of Michigan women's tennis players advanced to the championship match in two separate draws. Senior Tania Mahtani (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif./Palos Verdes Peninsula) will play for the championship of the Blue draw, while junior Denise Muresan (Lincolnshire, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) will compete for the title in the Maize draw. Tomorrow's action starts at 10 a.m. at the Varsity Tennis Center.
