• Today was the Wolverines' 500th game in the 82-year history of Michigan Stadium. The only other Big Ten schools to play 500 games at their home venues are Ohio State (504) and Wisconsin (521).
• Seniors Doug Dutch, Jason Gingell, Mike Massey and Austin Panter served as game captains against Wisconsin.
• Kicker Ali Haji-Sheikh (1979-82), cornerback Marlin Jackson (2001-04) and running back Anthony Thomas (1997-2000) were alumni game captains for the Wolverines today.
• Today's announced crowd of 109,833 is the 210th consecutive game welcoming more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium.
• Michigan's 19-point comeback marks the largest comeback in Michigan Stadium history. The previous record was 17, set by the 2004 Wolverines in the 45-37 triple-overtime win over Michigan State and the 1995 team in the 18-17 win over Virginia in the Pigskin Classic.
• The Wolverines claimed their 375th all-time victory at the Big House with the win over Wisconsin. U-M has a 375-110-15 record at Michigan Stadium.
• Opening its 104th season in the Big Ten Conference, the Wolverines are 77-24-2 in conference openers and have claimed victories in 39 of their last 41 Big Ten openers. Michigan is now 50-13-1 in home conference openers.
• Michigan's 20 points in the fourth quarter are the most scored in one quarter for the Wolverines this season.
• In the second half, U-M earned 247 yards of total offense (103 passing, 144 rushing), 13 first downs and 27 points after posting only 21 yards of total offense (-7 passing, 28 rushing), one first down and no points in the first half.
• After surrendering 111 rushing yards in the first half, the U-M defense only allowed 47 yards on the ground in the second half.
• With the win, Rich Rodriguez earned his first Big Ten Conference victory. Michigan head coaches are now 13-3 in their Big Ten debuts.
• U-M improved to 17-2 against the Badgers in Big Ten Conference openers.
• With the win over No. 9-ranked Wisconsin, Rodriguez claimed his first victory against a top 25 opponent at U-M.
• Sophomore/freshman quarterback Steven Threet's career-long 58-yard rush in the fourth quarter is the team's longest running play of the season. Threet rushed for a career-best and team-high 89 yards on nine attempts.
• Threet completed 12-of-31 passes for 96 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
• Junior Brandon Minor scored his second touchdown of the season on a season-best 34-yard run in the fourth quarter.
• On the next play from scrimmage, fifth-year senior linebacker John Thompson scored his first career touchdown on a 25-yard interception return. The pick was Thompson's second of his career.
• Thompson was honored as ABC's Michigan Player of the Game.
• Junior/sophomore linebacker Obi Ezeh tied for the team lead with eight tackles to surpass 100 total tackles for his career. Ezeh has totaled 102 stops during the past two seasons.
• Fifth-year senior Charles Stewart snagged his first interception of his career in the second quarter.
• In his first career game, freshman Kevin Koger recorded his first career catch and first career touchdown, scoring on a 26-yard reception from Threet in the third quarter for U-M's first points.
• In the fourth quarter, senior defensive tackle Terrance Taylor recorded his first fumble recovery of the season and the third of his career.
• Opening the game at left guard, junior/sophomore offensive lineman John Ferrara started his first career game on offense after switching from defensive line prior to the 2008 season.
• Michigan started its third different offensive line combination in four games.
