Hung and Maravic were named ITA All-Americans based on their No. 10 final national doubles ranking. The pair, which was ranked as high as No. 2 during the year, finished the 2006-07 campaign with a team-best overall record of 25-9. The tandem went 17-6 at the No. 1 position during the dual match season and was the runner-up at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships before reaching the semifinals at the ITA National Indoor Championships.
The duo, which qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship the past two seasons, finished their career together with an overall record of 63-25 (.716).
Hung and Maravic are Michigan's first All-America doubles team since Ed Nagel (1987-88) and MaliVai Washington (1988-89), who earned the honor in 1988. U-M's last All-America singles player was Dan Brakus (1991-94) in 1994.
Bruce Berque has guided 15 players to 30 ITA All-America nominations during his 15-year coaching career. Hung and Maravic are the ninth doubles team Berque has coached to All-America status.
The Wolverines finished the 2007 season with a national team ranking of No. 21 -- their highest final ranking in 19 years (finished in a tie for No. 3 with USC in 1988). Maravic and Hung placed 39th and 46th, respectively, in this year's final national singles rankings.
Michigan concluded the year with a regional team ranking of No. 4 -- its highest final ranking in seven seasons (finished No. 4 in 2000). Maravic (No. 7), Hung (No. 8), senior Ryan Heller (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North HS) (No. 28) and sophomore Andrew Mazlin (Altamonte Springs, Fla./Lyman HS) (No. 33) earned year-ending regional singles rankings.
