Michigan Coach Andrew Sapp
On his thoughts going into the final day ... "It's nice to be in the final group. When you are in the final threesome you always feel like you have a chance to win. Tomorrow it will be a great advantage to play at home. Obviously we will be comfortable in this situation and even more so because they went through this last year. They know what it is like. They know what to do. Hopefully we can catch Wisconsin and keep the other teams, which there are a lot of, at bay tomorrow and bring home a win."
On the U-M Golf Course having scoreable conditions ... "With all the weather conditions we had earlier this week, the greens are soft. So, it is almost like throwing darts at a dartboard. The ball stops where you want it to. There isn't as much roll on the greens, which are not as quick as they typically are because of all the rain we received. For us, our guys are used to coming out here and making a lot of birdies and playing aggressively on this golf course. That is what we are going to have to do tomorrow. We are going to have to play aggressively. We are going to have to make a lot of birdies. Hopefully we can eliminate a lot of the doubles (bogeys). That is what hurt us today, especially down the stretch. We did not finish our round well today. We need to eliminate that and bring it home tomorrow. It could be a shootout to see who comes out on top."
