Kevin Porter increased his career-best point streak to 15 games with a goal in the first period. He has 13-13-26 totals during the point run.
Travis Turnbull recorded a career-high three points with a goal and two assists. The 1-2-3 output is Turnbull's first multi-point game since Oct. 28, 2005, when he had 1-1-2 at Alaska Fairbanks.
Turnbull has points in back-to-back games for the first time this season. He has produced a 1-3-4 line in the last two games.
U-M lost for the first time this season when leading after two periods. Michigan is now 8-1-0 when ahead after 40 minutes.
Chad Kolarik has scored points in four straight games, producing 1-5-6 output.
