Michigan has entered halftime in a scoreless deadlock 10 out of 17 games this season.
U-M remains tough on defense in the opening stanza, allowing just one first half goal all season.
The Wolverines have played six overtime contests this season, which is the most in a campaign since 2003 when U-M played seven double-overtime matches and one single-overtime contest. Michigan is also one tie away from equaling the program record for draws in a single season (6 in 2003).
Michigan tied its season high in shots on goal (10) in tonight's contest. The Maize and Blue also accumulated 10 on net in its first game of the year, a 0-0 tie with Western Michigan.

On tonight's game ... "In the first half, we created some good opportunities and took it to them. In the second half, the momentum changed a bit and Minnesota played better. It was a pretty hard fought game. We had some good chances in the second and Megan (Tuura) made a couple nice saves. Minnesota is playing to get a spot in the tournament and we had our chances. They had a good goalkeeper, who made some nice saves."
On the play of senior goalkeeper Megan Tuura ... "Megan had a save on a head ball on a corner that was such a great save. Minnesota had some corners that were pretty dangerous and she held onto a bunch of balls. She was just phenomenal on all of their corners."
On Sunday's game at Ohio State ... "We need to be ready for one of the toughest games of the season. It is going to be a battle and they are an excellent team. We are going to need to have some good performances."
