Michigan Head Coach Debbie Rademacher
On today's game ... "It's disappointing, obviously, getting a goal and letting them right back in. We outshot them. They hadn't had a win yet in the Big Ten so we knew they were going to come out. They had to win this game so we knew it was going to be a physical, good game."
On giving up a goal after scoring ... "You're really vulnerable five minutes after you score a goal and we just didn't tighten up, unfortunately."
On Wisconsin's style of play ... "They defend with a lot of numbers in the midfield so they clog it up and they look for transition on the attack. We were struggling to get the ball on the ground for a shot to go in."
On junior defender Brenna Mullholland ... "She did a good job on the tackle and using her body well in the physical play."
On rebounding from today's loss ... "We've lost games and we've won games. We have things that we certainly need to work on. We have a chance to knock off the two top teams in the Big Ten so that's what we're looking to do."
