Q U O T E S
Michigan coach Andrew Sapp
On the final fall tournament ... "Obviously going into today (final round) we were sitting pretty well, tied for second, but unfortunately the tough weather conditions and the winds really got the better of us. We played poorly today. It's a bad way to finish the fall because the fall was so good. It kind of leaves a bitter taste in our mouth since we played so well these last two months."
On the fall season ... "I was very pleased. We had some record shooting scores, we won our own tournament, we had an individual, Christian Vozza, win a tournament and we had a lot of other guys finish in the top 10 and top five. It was definitely a successful fall. We have to look beyond finishing poorly in the last round of the fall and evaluate everything we did and realize that we made some great strides this fall. We are going to go into the winter and really work hard to get ready for our spring season. We need to come out and play as well as we have this fall. That is the key, is not to dwell on one bad round that happened today, but look at all the positives. We made a lot of great things happen this fall, hopefully we can build on that in the spring season."
