Michigan To Host Five Schools for Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's tennis team will host the Wolverine Invitational this Friday through Sunday (Oct. 15-17) at the Varsity Tennis Center. The three-day event will feature squads from Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Western Michigan and Wisconsin. Tennis action will begin each day at 9 a.m. with singles matches.

The event will be based on a "hidden dual-match" format, where teams will square off against each other but the outcome of the match will not be scored as a team effort. However, each match will count toward the individual players' records and rankings. Each sequence of singles matches will be played on eight courts, while the doubles matches will take place on four courts at a time.
