Armstrong, Narsai Earn All-America Honorable Mention

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The American Water Polo Coaches Association announced May 22 that University of Michigan sophomores Betsey Armstrong (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron HS) and Sheetal Narsai (Commerce, Calif./Bell Gardens HS) were selected as All-America honorable mentions. It is Armstrong's second year as an honorable mention, while this is Narsai's first season as a member of the All-America team.

Narsai was among the team leaders in every statistical category in 2003 on her way to her first All-America selection. She set a school record with 53 steals, led the team with a .541 shooting percentage (33/61) and was tied for first on the team with 22 assists. Narsai also was second on the team with 33 goals.
The AWPCA selects first, second and third teams for its Division I All-America awards. For voting, players receive three points for a first team nomination, two points for a second team nomination, and one point for a third team nomination. A player may receive honorable mention if she receives votes from two schools, excluding her own.
