Tholl Promoted to U-M Softball Associate Head Coach

One of four Wolverines named to the Big Ten All-Decade Team (1982-92), Tholl was the first player in Big Ten history named to the All-Big Ten first team all four years of her career. Tholl was also named to the All-Mideast Regional team three times, twice to the first team and once to the second team. Internationally, Tholl was invited to the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team tryout after helping the U.S. "A" team qualify for the 1995 Pan American Games.
Following a three-year stint as both an assistant and graduate assistant at Indiana (1991-93), Tholl returned to her alma mater in 1994 and has been a member of four Michigan coaching staffs that were named NFCA Great Lakes Region Coaching Staff of the Year (1998, '99, 2001, '02). Hutchins, Tholl and fellow assistant Jennifer Brundage guided the 2002 Wolverines to the Big Ten regular-season, Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Regional 6 championships, which culminated in the Maize and Blue's second straight WCWS appearance.
