ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's basketball coach Tommy Amaker has announced that sophomore guard Dommanic Ingerson (Santa Barbara, Calif./Santa Barbara HS) will transfer from the University after the fall semester.
"We are sorry to see Dommanic go," said Amaker. "He feels a fresh start would be best for him at this time, and we wish him the best."
As a freshman in 2001-02 Ingerson played in all 29 games and averaged 8.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists in 16.2 minutes of action. He has not played during the 2002-03 regular season after appearing briefly in each of U-M's two exhibition contests.
