Wolverines Shut Out by No. 8-Ranked Fighting Irish

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team suffered its sixth consecutive loss, losing 7-0 to No. 8-ranked Notre Dame Saturday afternoon (March 10) at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. The Fighting Irish (11-3) swept the doubles point and secured their seventh consecutive victory over the Wolverines (3-6) by winning all six singles matches.
Michigan returns to the hardcourt Wednesday evening (March 14, 6 p.m.) against Western Michigan at the Varsity Tennis Center. The Wolverines have a 20-5 all-time record against the Broncos.
