Michigan Trio Competes at NCAA Zone Diving Meet

Shin, competing in the NCAA Zone Diving Meet for the third time, turned in U-M's top score in all three events, including a ninth-place finish in the platform diving with a score of 316.30. She was 14th on the one-meter springboard at 327.75 and 17th in the three-meter board (373.95).
Crews, also competing in her third NCAA Zone Diving Meet, placed 10th in the platform diving with a 297.15, while finishing 16th and 36th on the one- and three-meter springboards. DeSitter finished 21st on the three-meter board (218.70) and 27th in the one-meter event (161.60).
U-M is now in preparation for the 2000 NCAA National Championships, to be held Thursday through Saturday, March 16-18, at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. Preliminaries start at noon CST each day, with the finals following at 7 p.m.
