ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan ice hockey forward Mike Cammalleri (Richmond Hill, Ontario) has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in last weekend's two-game series (Dec. 1-2) at Northern Michigan University.
Cammalleri had two goals in Friday's 6-2 win (Dec. 1) and was on the ice for four U-M goals -- three even-strength and one power-play goal -- and only Northern Michigan's power-play goal. In Saturday's game (Dec. 2), he recorded his fourth consecutive multi-point game by scoring the first goal and assisting on the game-tying goal in Michigan's 2-2 tie with the Wildcats.

Cammalleri owns a six-game scoring streak, the longest of his career, and he has scored eight goals and five assists for 13 points in the streak, with five of the games in the streak being multi-point outings.
This is the first time in Cammalleri's career that he has been honored as a CCHA Player of the Week.
Michigan hosts St. Lawrence this weekend (Dec. 8-9) in a two-game series at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor.
