Wolverines Receive At-Large Bid to NCAA Meet

This year will mark the men's 20th appearance ever at the NCAA Championship and the 10th consecutive year competing at nationals. Michigan finished fourth in the 1998 NCAA meet, with top finisher Todd Snyder placing 10th.
Two other Big Ten Conference teams will compete at nationals. Minnesota received an at-large bid, while Wisconsin qualified automatically. From the Great Lakes Region, Notre Dame will also attend with an automatic bid. Michigan has defeated all teams competing from the Big Ten Conference and Great Lakes Region this year except Wisconsin.
The men's and women's races are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 22, at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. The 10,000-meter men's race is set to start at 11 a.m. EST and the women's 5,000-meter event, including the Michigan women's cross country team, will follow at 12:15 p.m.
