Roger Zatkoff
- Induction:

- Class:

Michigan football has produced a long list of outstanding linebackers, but few could match Roger Zatkoff's dedication and desire to play the game. Zatkoff was a three-year letterwinner for Michigan from 1950 through 1952 as well as the Meyer Morton Award winner. He played for the Wolverines' 1950 Big Ten championship team that beat California 14-6 in the Rose Bowl. An offensive tackle as well as a linebacker, Zatkoff was selected All-Big Ten as a tackle in 1952. After his graduation from Michigan, he played for six seasons in the NFL and was a member of the Detroit Lions 1957 world championship team. In 1967, he served as President of The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit. For his dedication to Michigan, he was awarded the University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit Distinguished Alumni Service Award and the National Alumni Distinguished Service Award.
