Dave Brown was a two-time All-America defensive back at U-M and was named to its All-Century Team (1900-1999). From 1972-1974, he was a three-time All-Big Ten selection and a two-time All-America recipient. As a senior, he played in the East-West Shrine Game, Hula Bowl, All-American Bowl and College All-Star Game. Brown played professionally for 16 seasons, beginning his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1975. He participated in Pittsburgh’s 21-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl X. Brown was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1976 expansion draft and spent 11 seasons (1976-1986) with the franchise and was eventually enshrined in the Seahawks Ring of Honor. After his NFL retirement, Brown went on to a successful college and professional football coaching career. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007. Photo Gallery
