Anthony Carter had a brilliant career at Michigan, the third major Hall of Fame induction for the famed Wolverine #1. Carter earned four letters as a Michigan wide receiver, played on a pair of Big Ten championship teams and earned All-America honors three times (1980-82), becoming only the second Wolverine three-time All-American. Carter was Big Ten player of the year in 1982 and twice named team MVP. Carter went on to a successful 14-year professional career that included 11 years playing in the NFL.
