- Head Assistant Cheer Coach
Elisabeth Tyzo-DePaulis has been an assistant coach with the team since 2005. Included among her coaching achievements are ten first-place finishes in the Game Day 1A and Coed Intermediate 1A divisions and several additional top-five finishes at NCA Nationals.
Tyzo-DePaulis is USA Cheer, and CPR/First Aid certified. She is a Michigan High School Athletic Association safety judge and has judged district, regional, and state competitions throughout Michigan.
Before she began coaching, Tyzo-DePaulis attended U-M and was a part of the cheer team from 2002-2005. In 2004, she helped her team to a sixth-place finish at nationals. She earned her undergraduate degree and her M.A. in education from Michigan. She is a high school English teacher in Westland and lives in South Lyon with her husband, Dan, and her two children.
