• Claimed eighth place at 133 pounds at the Big Ten Championships (March 7-8) with a 2-3 record
• Dropped a close 10-7 quarterfinal bout to Wisconsin's No. 1 Seth Gross

• Earned a 7-2 decision over Michigan State's Garrett Pepple in varsity debut (Jan. 10)

• Redshirted season; competed unattached in two open tournaments
• Captured the 133-pound title at the Cleveland State Open (Dec. 15) with a 4-0 record; used a rideout in the second tiebreaker to defeat Indiana's Paul Konrath, 6-5, in the the final
• Posted a 3-1 record at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30)
• Earned an 18-3 technical fall against Akron's Ryan Matthews in collegiate debut at the CSU Open
