• Avenged his first-round loss at Big Tens to Purdue's Dustin Norris with a 20-12 major decision in the ninth-place bracket

• Went 3-2 at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 9) and took fourth place at 125 pounds; earned two bonus wins, including a pin (5:44) over Ohio's Malachi O'Leary to reach the third-place match
