Six Home Duals Highlight Wolverines' 2026-27 Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan wrestling team, in conjunction with the official release of the Big Ten Conference dual-meet slate, announced its 2026-27 schedule on Tuesday (Sept. 29), featuring 13 duals and two regular-season tournaments. Start times and television selections will be announced at a later date.
The Wolverines will open the season on the road at VMI on Sunday, Nov. 1, before competing at the annual Michigan State Open the following Saturday (Nov. 7). Michigan will make its home debut against Columbia at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13.
U-M will continue first-semester dual action with a pair of road meets, traveling to Rider (Nov. 20) and Northern Colorado (Nov. 22), before wrapping up the calendar year at the 44th annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, slated for Dec. 4-5, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Michigan will host four Big Ten duals this season: Wisconsin (Jan. 9), Purdue (Jan. 22), Ohio State (Feb. 5) and Minnesota (Feb. 14). U-M's road Big Ten duals include Penn State (Jan. 15), Michigan State (Jan. 17), Illinois (Jan. 29) and Indiana (Feb. 7). The Wolverines will close out their dual slate at home against Central Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 21.
The 2027 Big Ten Championships will be held March 6-7 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio -- the first time in the event's history that the championships will be contested at a neutral site. The 2026-27 season wraps with the NCAA Championships, March 18-20, at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.
Michigan enters 2026-27 -- the ninth season under head coach Sean Bormet -- with five returning starters, including 2026 All-Americans Cameron Catrabone, Beau Mantanona and Brock Mantanona. The Wolverines also welcomed 11 newcomers this fall with the nation's No. 4-ranked recruiting class and NC State transfer Daniel Zepeda.

New season tickets for the 2026-27 season are on sale through the Michigan Ticket Office. Season tickets range from $50-$75 per seat and include benefits like price discounts, priority points and Chalk Talk invitations with Coach Bormet.
