Michigan Announces Full 2026-27 Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan women's basketball program announced its full 2026-27 schedule on Wednesday (Sept. 16). Michigan will play 11 non-conference games and 18 Big Ten contests, facing 13 NCAA Tournament teams and three WBIT teams from last season.
Michigan will begin the 2026-27 season at home by hosting UConn on Nov. 5, highlighting six home non-conference contests. U-M will face WBIT champion Columbia in a true road game on Nov. 12, while also participating in the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship and Champions Classic.
Michigan will once again play 18 Big Ten games, facing 16 schools once and playing a home-and-home series with Michigan State. U-M will face Maryland on the road in its early Big Ten contest on Dec. 11 before resuming conference play against Michigan State at Crisler Center on Dec. 29.
U-M will host Ohio State, Oregon, Rutgers, Washington, Penn State, Iowa, Northwestern and Indiana. The Wolverines will hit the road for games at Purdue, Nebraska, Illinois, USC, UCLA, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The 2027 Big Ten Tournament is set for March 3-7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
Michigan returns its top five scorers from last season's Elite Eight team in Olivia Olson (18.9 ppg), Syla Swords (14.6 ppg), Mila Holloway (12.3 ppg), Te'Yala Delfosse (8.7 ppg) and Ashley Sofilkanich (7.7 ppg). J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Barnes Arico enters her 15th season in Ann Arbor after leading Michigan to 28 wins last season and eclipsing 300 wins on the sidelines in Ann Arbor.
The Wolverines will host UConn in a marquee non-conference game at Crisler Center on Nov. 5. Upper bowl tickets for the matchup are available for purchase starting at $26 each, with a limit of eight per customer. Fans interested in tickets can join the women's basketball ticket interest list.
