ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan volleyball head coach Erin Virtue announced Wednesday (July 22) that 11 of the team's 16 home matches in 2026 will take place inside Crisler Center after 13 last season.
The 2026 Crisler Series will start with the Big Ten/SEC Challenge on Tuesday, Sept. 1, against South Carolina, followed by LSU on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Following the Challenge and two weekends on the road, Michigan will host Eastern Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 17, at Crisler before wrapping up the non-conference season at Cliff Keen Arena.
U-M will then host all but one of its conference contests in Crisler Center, including the conference opener against Penn State on Sept. 25 and Nebraska on Oct. 30.
The Wolverines' lone conference game at Cliff Keen Arena will be Wednesday, Nov. 11, against Ohio State before closing out the home season at Crisler with Senior Day against Purdue on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The 11 matches at Crisler Center mark the second consecutive season that U-M will host double-digit contests there, with last season being the first time hosting double-digit matches. In 2025, the Wolverines sold out Crisler for the first time in program history with 12,707 fans against Nebraska. In 2024, Michigan hosted nine matches at Crisler Center, up from eight in the first season under Virtue.
Michigan will host a free-admission exhibition contest against Pittsburgh on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. in Crisler Center for the first chance to see the 2026 squad in action. Post-match autographs will follow the contest.
Single-match tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 28, at 9 a.m. ET. Join the volleyball ticket interest list to be notified when tickets go on sale and to receive promotional information throughout the season.
