ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Four divers from the University of Michigan men's and women's swimming and diving team opened competition at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Monday (March 9) inside Jones Natatorium at Eastern Michigan.
On the women's side, Kiarra Milligan advanced to the final of the one-meter dive and placed 10th overall with a score of 578.70 after 12 dives, just missing an NCAA berth.
On the men's side, Julian Cardenas finished 28th on the three-meter springboard with a tally of 308.20 while Emmitt Reesor took 29th with a score of 305.40. Logan Hepner rounded out the men's divers with a score of 270.55.
Michigan will be back in action for the second day of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on Tuesday (March 10) at 1 p.m. inside Jones Natatorium.
