ATLANTA, Ga. -- The No. 4-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its 2025-26 season with a sixth-place finish (296 points) at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday (March 21) at McAuley Aquatic Center. Virginia captured its sixth straight national championship with 589 points.
Bella Sims and Hannah Bellard represented the Maize and Blue in the evening session. Bellard took bronze in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:51.17. Sims took fifth in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:49.38.
Stephanie Balduccini finished 11th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.24 seconds, while Letitia Sim closed out her Michigan career with a time of 1:55.51, good for 11th overall.
Balduccini, Brady Kendall, Lexi Greenhawt and Sims ended the season with a time of 3:08.03 in the 400-yard freestyle relay to finish sixth.
