» Opening with team tallies of 288 and 293, Michigan positioned itself in a tie for seventh with a 581 36-hole total at the Gators Invitational, being played at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.
» Carding her third straight career-low 70, Mara Janess paced the Wolverines on day one. She followed her career-best with a 73 and is tied for 17th (143, +3). Lauren Sung used tallies of 72 and 71 to share the 17th position.
» Playing as an individual, Sydney Sung is tied for 10th after her 141 (+1; 70-71).
» Originally scheduled for a three-day tournament, potential inclement weather on Sunday (March 9) shrank the event to two days and 36 holes on day one.
