
Hobbs, Kampschroeder Earn CSC Academic All-District

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Jordan Hobbs and Greta Kampschroeder of the University of Michigan women's basketball team each earned Academic All-District honors by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon (March 25). It is the third selection for Hobbs, with Kampschroeder earning her first honor.
Hobbs capped her stellar Maize and Blue career with 962 points, starting every contest the last two seasons. As a senior, she averaged 13.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 31.4 minutes per game. One of five players in program history to make four NCAA Tournaments, Hobbs had a career-best 28 points in Michigan's first-round win over Iowa State (March 21). She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors three times in her career as a business administration major in the Ross School of Business.
Kampschroeder started all 34 games in her final season in Ann Arbor, averaging 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game. She hit 42 three-pointers on 40.0 percent shooting from deep, ranking third on the team in threes. Kampschroeder scored a career-best 23 points at Akron (Dec. 20) and turned in 16 points on the strength of five three-pointers at Nebraska (Feb. 6). A two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Kampschroeder will graduate in May with a sport management degree.
