ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team announced on Friday (Dec. 19) an additional exhibition game to its 2025-26 schedule. The Wolverines will host Simon Fraser University on Thursday, March 5, at Yost Ice Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
The Wolverines were originally scheduled to have a bye week the last week of the conference slate, prior to the Big Ten playoffs beginning on March 11.
Michigan's final series of the regular season is Feb. 26-27 with Minnesota at Yost Ice Arena -- with both games airing on Big Ten Network.
Out of Burnaby, British Columbia, Simon Fraser will visit Ann Arbor for the second time, after a 2023 pre-season game. Michigan won that game by an 8-1 score and went on to win the Big Ten Tournament championship and reach the Frozen Four.
Tickets for the exhibition game with Simon Fraser will go on sale in January. Sign up for single-game ticket news for on-sale alerts. Season ticket holders will receive their seat location for this game.
