NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The University of Michigan men's cross country team earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors, the organization announced Friday (Jan. 31). This is the 13th time in 14 years the Wolverines have been recognized.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. U-M posted a GPA of 3.328. BYU was named the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Scholar Team of the Year, with 180 other programs earning the honor this season.
The Wolverines, led by director of track and field and cross country Kevin Sullivan, met that standard for the 11th consecutive year.
