
McMahon Hired as Assistant Coach

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's lacrosse head coach Kevin Conry announced Wednesday (Oct. 30) the hiring of Jared McMahon as an assistant coach.
"We are pleased to welcome Jared to our coaching staff," said Conry. "His passion for the game of lacrosse and his enthusiasm for teaching will bring an immediate positive impact to the entire program."
McMahon comes to Michigan from Bucknell University and will work primarily with the faceoff unit, goalies and help with the offense.
"I want to thank Coach Conry for the incredible opportunity here at the University of Michigan," said McMahon. "I am excited to work alongside his incredible staff of Coach Rogalski and Coach Bieda. It is a great honor to represent the block M here at Michigan and work with a remarkable group of student-athletes who represent what Michigan lacrosse is all about."
McMahon served as an assistant coach at Bucknell for the 2024 campaign, working with the faceoff unit, goalies and defense as he focused on technical skills, communication and working with the scout team.
Prior to his time at Bucknell, McMahon served as a head coach for 2 Knights Lacrosse where he coached different teams for five years. During his time with 2 Knights Lacrosse, he worked with players ranging from 7th-12th grade to develop and elevate their games.
McMahon played collegiate lacrosse at Mount St. Mary's where he was a two-time captain, a first team Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference selection and finished his career ranked in the top 20 in program history in points, goals and assists. He was also a Presidential Scholarship recipient, a member of the North East Conference Division I All-Rookie Team and a North vs. South All-Star selection.
