» Paced with a career-low-tying 71 (-2) from Suzie Tran and an even 73 from Lauren Sung, Michigan opened the Nanea Invitational with a 297-team total and positioned itself eighth after the first of three rounds at the Nanea Golf Club.
» Tying her career-low single round total of 71, Tran used five birdies to set a new milestone as she recorded her first career sub-par tally with a two-under 71. She closed the first day tied for 13th.
» Using three birdies to negate three bogeys, Lauren Sung carded an even 72 and is tied for 21st.
» Jenna Shilts is not only making her collegiate debut but her first start. With three birdies helping her effort, she carded a 78 in her first college round.
