
Wolverines Announce 2023-24 Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team announced its 2023-24 schedule on Tuesday (Sept. 12), highlighted by hosting the 2024 Big Ten Tournament at the Varsity Tennis Center and facing at least nine teams who finished in the top 25 of last year's final rankings.
Michigan will host one tournament at the VTC this fall (Sept. 29-Oct. 1), with the remaining five fall tourneys taking place on the road.
U-M will start the 2024 calendar year with a three-day tournament (Jan. 12-14) to wrap up tourney action. The Wolverines will play a pair of dual matches on the road before hosting the ITA Kick-Off for the first time since January 2020.
Michigan's dual-match schedule features nine teams who finished the 2022-23 season ranked in the top 25 of the team rankings in No. 4 NC State, No. 9 Pepperdine, No. 10 Ohio State, No. 12 Virginia, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 15 Florida, No. 19 Oklahoma State, No. 22 Wisconsin and No. 25 USC.
The Big Ten Tournament returns to Ann Arbor for the first time since 2011, with the Varsity Tennis Center hosting the event from April 24-28.
The Wolverines feature six ranked singles players in the fall release of the rankings in No. 15 Jaedan Brown, No. 24 Kari Miller, No. 41 Julia Fliegner, No. 80 Lily Jones, No. 82 Gala Mesochoritou and No. 108 Anna Ross. In addition, Miller and Brown comprise the No. 4-ranked doubles team and freshman Piper Charney is the No. 8-ranked newcomer.
