Eight Wolverines Set to Compete at US and UK Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Eight men and women from the University of Michigan track and field program will compete this week at the national championships of the United States and United Kingdom. They will compete for the opportunity to further represent their nations in global competition throughout the summer.
The list below is an overview of the Michigan competitors at each meet, including when and how to follow their progress.

The top three finishers in each event who have achieved the World Championships qualifying standard will be selected to represent Team USA at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in August.

The top two finishers in each event who have achieved the World Championships qualifying standard will automatically eligible to represent Team Great Britain at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in August, with an additional roster spot awarded at the discretion of British Athletics.
