WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team picked up two NCAA B-cut times on the final day of the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance Meet at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.
Claire Newman started strong, leading from start to finish in the 50-yard freestyle, earning a season best and an NCAA B-cut with a time of 22.40. Kathryn Shanley finished right behind Newman in second with a time of 23.85, also a season best.
Claire Donan has a strong showing, finishing first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a season-best time of 2:12.02, earning a B-cut. Megan Glass swam her way to a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.26.
The Wolverines will return to the pool Monday (March 6) for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in Bloomington, Ind.
