Miller dropped her first-round match on Monday (Oct. 4) to No. 63 Margarita Skriabina of Texas Tech in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(3), to send her to the consolation draw.
Tuesday's action (Oct. 5) was canceled due to all-day thunderstorms in the area.
The Wolverine sophomore picked up a straight-set win over Morgan Coppoc (Georgia), 6-3, 6-3, when play resumed Wednesday morning (Oct. 6), advancing Miller to the quarterfinals. Play Wednesday was once again suspended due to rain.
