• Michigan fell to 59-10 in the all-time series against Indiana. Today's loss halted a 24-game series win streak for the Wolverines, who had won 39 of the last 40 against IU. U-M's last setback against the Hoosiers came in 1987.
• Sophomore Karsen Barnhart made his first career start, moving into the left tackle spot against the Hoosiers after seeing action in four previous games as a reserve.
• Senior Andrew Stueber shifted out to right tackle after starting the first two contests at right guard. Stueber started the final two games at right tackle in 2018 but was injured and missed all of the 2019 season.
• Freshman Zak Zinter earned the starting nod at right guard against the Hoosiers. The freshman became the first Wolverine offensive lineman to start as a true freshman since Ben Bredeson started the final eight games of the 2016 season at left guard.
• Junior quarterback Joe Milton completed 18-of-34 passes for a career-best 344 yards and a career-best three touchdowns. It was his first collegiate multi-touchdown passing effort; he now owns four passing touchdowns this season and five in his career. His previous career high for passing yards was 300, which he tallied last weekend against Michigan State.
• Junior wide receiver Ronnie Bell registered the second 100-yard receiving game of his career with 149 yards -- just one shy of his career high (150 against Michigan State last season) -- on six receptions. Bell also posted his first touchdown of the season -- fourth of his career -- on a 21-yard reception early in the fourth quarter.
• Sophomore wide receiver Cornelius Johnson recorded his first touchdown of the season -- and second of his career -- on a 37-yard catch in the first quarter. It was the second-longest reception of his career, just two yards shy of his career long, a 39-yard touchdown catch against Michigan State last season. Johnson also posted a career-best 82 receiving yards on four catches; his previous best was 52 yards against MSU last Saturday.
• Freshman wide receiver Roman Wilson scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 13-yard catch in the third quarter.
• Senior defensive back Brad Hawkins led the team in tackles, posting a team season-high 12 stops at Indiana. It was his third career game with double-digit tackles; his previous high was 10.
• With three successful PATs at Indiana, kicker Quinn Nordin moved into 12th place all-time in scoring at Michigan with 237 total points in his career. He is tied with Tom Harmon (1938-40) and needs just three more points to reach the 11th spot, currently held by Chris Perry (240, 2000-03).
• Senior punter Brad Robbins' 66-yard punt late in the second quarter marked a career long, eclipsing the 58-yarder he delivered against Ohio State in 2017. Robbins also posted a 65-yard punt in the second quarter.
