Siobhán Haughey, Maggie MacNeil (Feb. 13)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Senior Siobhán Haughey is Big Ten Swimmer of the Week for the third time after winning the 100-yard freestyle (49.04) and 200-yard IM (1:58.88) at Michigan State last Friday (Feb. 8). She also swam a leg on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:25.99). » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil captured her sixth Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor after winning the 50-yard freestyle (22.72) and 200-yard backstroke (1:55.39) against Michigan State. It was her first time swimming the 200-yard backstroke this season, and her time puts her eighth among all Big Ten swimmers this season. Siobhán Haughey, Maggie MacNeil (Jan. 23)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Senior Siobhán Haughey is Big Ten Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season after racing to six individual event wins in meets at Indiana (Jan. 17) and vs. Ohio State (Jan. 19) last week. In each meet, Haughey won the 100-yard freestyle (48.47/48.27), 200-yard freestyle (1:47.49/1:44.99) and 200-yard IM (1:58.69/1:59.91). She also swam legs on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay in both meets.
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil is Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season. She won the 100-yard backstroke (52.88) and 100-yard butterfly (51.80) against Indiana, and followed that up with wins in the 50-yard freestyle (22.42) and the 100-yard butterfly (51.16) against Ohio State. She also swam legs on three winning relays over the two meets.

Maggie MacNeil (Jan. 9)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil won and set meet records in both the 50-meter butterfly (26.87) and 50-meter backstroke (27.36) at the Orange Bowl Classic, held in conjunction with the team's training trip on Jan. 3. She also swam on both winning relays; the 200-meter medley relay (1:52.28) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:44.00) each set new meet records.
Nikki Canale, Maggie MacNeil (Dec. 5)
Big Ten Diver of the Week -- Sophomore Nikki Canale receives the weekly honor based on a trio of top-three finishes at the UGA Fall Invite last weekend (Nov. 29-Dec. 1). She won one-meter (287.10) and finished third on both three-meter (312.65) and platform (235.65).
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil is Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the third time this fall. She won the 100-yard butterfly (49.97) and 100-yard backstroke (51.31), took second in the 50-yard freestyle (21.93) and finished sixth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.25). MacNeil made plenty of history, becoming the fourth woman in NCAA history to break 50 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly, lowering her previously-held Big Ten and school records. She also set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle and moved to No. 2 at U-M in the 100-yard backstroke. MacNeil also helped set school records on three relays (200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay).
Maggie MacNeil (Nov. 14)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil is Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time in as many weeks after a weekend of record-setting performances at the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Swimming and Diving Challenge. She set the Big Ten record and lowered her school record in the 100-yard butterfly (50.09), a time that ranks No. 1 in the NCAA for this year and No. 6 on the NCAA's all-time performances list. She also won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.08 -- the second-fastest time in school history and seventh-fastest time in Big Ten history -- and helped the Big Ten win the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay.
Siobhán Haughey (Nov. 7)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Senior Siobhán Haughey won three events and swam legs on three winning relays in Michigan's wins over Iowa and Denver last weekend in Iowa City. She met the NCAA "B" standard in the 100-yard freestyle (48.35) and 200-yard freestyle (1:45.43), setting a pool record in the latter. She also won the 200-yard IM (2:00.13) and swam on the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:30.88), 400-yard freestyle relay (3:22.79) and 400-yard medley relay (3:38.13).
Maggie MacNeil (Nov. 7)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Maggie MacNeil won the 100-yard butterfly (51.57) -- coming close to the school record she set just two weeks before (51.49) -- and the 50-yard freestyle (22.46). She also swam on three winning relays: the 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard medley relay and 200-yard medley relay (1:38.69).
Catie DeLoof (Oct. 3)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Senior Catie DeLoof was named Swimmer of the Week after winning three events against Oakland and Miami (Ohio) on Friday (Sept. 28). She collected NCAA "B" cuts in both the 50-yard freestyle (22.65) and 100-yard freestyle (49.20) and was also victorious in the 100-yard backstroke (54.68).
Christy Cutshaw (Oct. 3)
Big Ten Co-Diver of the Week -- Sophomore Christy Cutshaw was Co-Diver of the Week along with Michigan State's Amanda Ling. Cutshaw won three-meter (292.00) and was second on one-meter (275.22) on Friday (Sept. 28) against Oakland and Miami (Ohio). Both her scores met the NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standard.
Victoria Kwan (Oct. 3)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Victoria Kwan was named Freshman of the Week after winning the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.18) and the 200-yard IM (2:04.04) in her Canham Natatorium debut against Oakland and Miami (Ohio) on Friday (Sept. 28). She also swam the anchor leg on the team's winning 400-yard freestyle relay.
